Position Summary: The Director will work cross-functionally with government, business banking, consumer and other lines of business, legal, compliance, marketing, state and local stakeholders, forward flow purchasers, capital partners and other stakeholders to drive impactful lending programs and maintain a favorable CRA rating. Key Responsibilities: Ensuring Texas Capital meets or exceeds CRA regulatory requirements and plays a meaningful role in supporting the credit needs of low- and moderate-income (LMI) communities. Leading the origination, underwriting and funding strategies for small business lending in the State of Texas and beyond. Supporting Texas Capital's partnerships with the Small Business Administration, the Texas Economic Development & Tourism Office, the Department of Defense and other governmental agencies to design, implement and deliver lending programs meeting stakeholder and sponsor priorities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, public policy, or related field (Master's preferred). Minimum 7-10 years of experience in banking or financial services with at least 3 years in CRA or community development lending. Strong knowledge of CRA regulations, Fair Lending, and other related banking laws. Proven experience building and leading successful CRA lending programs. Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with community partners and regulators. Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRA reporting tools. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with CDFIs. Experience in loan acquisitions and securitization, including forward flow and other capital arrangements. Knowledge of emerging trends in community banking and impact finance. Familiarity with bank examination processes and performance evaluations. The duties listed above are the essential functions, or fundamental duties within the job classification.
