The Front Desk Office Assistant provides essential administrative and customer service support at Ascension Academy. This role serves as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff, and assists with various office tasks to ensure efficient operation. Responsibilities
Greet and assist parents, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner. Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel. Manage incoming and outgoing mail and emails. Maintain student records, including attendance, registration forms, and emergency contacts. Assist with the registration and enrollment process. Collect payments for tuition, fees, and programs. Prepare reports, newsletters, and other documents. Order and maintain office supplies. Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings. Provide general administrative support to the director and other staff members. Skills and Qualifications
Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to maintain confidentiality. A professional and courteous demeanor.
