Production Worker
This labor-intensive position involves the production of coffee cherries. The role requires scaling, processing, and milling coffee beans, which are crucial post-harvest steps in coffee production. Applicants must be capable of lifting 100-pound bags of coffee cherries throughout the day. This is not a harvesting or picking position but rather a labor position focused on production. Responsibilities
Ensure regular and timely attendance. Grade coffee cherries with precision and maintain good eyesight. Cultivate positive work relationships with local farmers and collaborate effectively with coworkers. Safely handle sharp objects during production processes. Complete tasks promptly and maintain a neat, clean workspace. Essential Skills
Proficiency in production and labor tasks. Experience with forklift operation and heavy lifting. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing. Organizational skills to follow systematic methods for task completion. Responsibility and accountability for one's conduct and actions. Honesty and integrity in the workplace. Dependability and trustworthiness. Friendly and cheerful demeanor towards others. Customer-oriented approach to meet customer needs while adhering to company procedures. Preferably one year of experience in coffee grading. High school diploma is preferred.
