Are you ready to lead and innovate in a dynamic environment? We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Product Development to lead the product development process for Members Mark, the exclusive private brand of Sams Club. In this role, you will drive the development of high-quality, trend-right merchandise that delivers exceptional value to our members. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams including Design, Sourcing, Technical Design, and Merchandising to ensure product execution meets brand, quality, and financial goals. As a key leader within the Private Brand team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the Members Mark offering through a member-first lens, grounded in innovation, performance, and everyday wearability. You'll be instrumental in delivering consistent brand voice across categories, driving speed-to-market, and scaling best practices across the development process. This role requires a deep understanding of the private brand landscape, large-scale retail environments, and working collaboratively with global partners to bring product to life at scale. As a Director of Product Development, you'll play a crucial role in driving our success and ensuring seamless product execution. What You'll Do

Build and manage a high-performing product development team, fostering a culture of accountability, creativity, and excellence. Collaborate closely with Design, Merchandising, Sourcing, and suppliers to align product execution with brand vision, cost targets, and delivery timelines. Analyze business objectives and member needs to develop and implement strategies. Drive continuous process improvements and innovation in materials, construction methods, and product execution to enhance member experience. Oversee the full lifecycle of product development from concept to production handoff. Lead development and approval process, ensuring garments meet high quality standards. Manage the development calendar, ensuring all key milestones are met. Partner with sourcing and supply chain to select appropriate vendors and factories, balancing cost, quality, speed, and sustainability. Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and sales data to inform product decisions and future strategies. What You'll Bring

Bachelors degree in Product Development, Textile Science, or related field. 7+ years of progressive experience in product development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Deep knowledge of garment construction, fabric or textile development, costing, and global sourcing . Strong project management skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication, strong leadership, and team management skills. Experience working with PLM systems. A passion for apparel, innovation, and delivering best-in-class product. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms. The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$260,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Design, or related field and 5 years experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area OR 7 years experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area. 1 years supervisory experience. Preferred Qualifications

Application development experience with emphasis on VBA and SQL programming languages, Creative design software, Cross-functional project management, Financial modeling, Manufacturing, product development, or packaging, Microsoft Office Masters: Arts, Masters: Business, Masters: Science Project Management - Project Management Professional - Certification, Six Sigma - Certification Primary Location
