The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Old Dominion University is hiring two full-time Lecturers to begin July 25, 2025. One of these positions should be capable of teaching courses that support the Forensic Chemistry major. This is a permanent non-tenure-track instructional position at the undergraduate level with an annual renewable contract. Minimum Qualifications: A Ph.D. in chemistry, biochemistry, forensic chemistry, or closely related field from an accredited institution Experience managing large course sections Experience teaching and managing courses with formal laboratory components Ability to contribute to teaching in support of our new forensic chemistry degree plan Each agency within the Commonwealth of Virginia is dedicated to recruiting, supporting, and maintaining a competent and diverse work force.
