Quality Assurance Inspector

The quality assurance inspector is responsible for verifying product conformance using relevant specifications, drawings, and customer workmanship standards. The role involves performing First Article Inspections of initial production runs, ensuring quality standards are met throughout production, and verifying process specifications concerning the product. Responsibilities

Initiate and manage non-conformance reports. Support system and product audits throughout manufacturing. Interface with representatives for evaluation of nonconforming product as needed. Coordinate problem solving concerning quality issues with Orion staff and customer representatives. Essential Skills

Quality assurance and dimensional inspection skills. Experience in quality inspection using micrometers and calipers. Proficiency in quality control and quality check processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience inspecting aerospace components. Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication, machining, and assembly processes. Ability to use standard inspection equipment such as height gauges, micrometers, and calipers. Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications. Shop math skills required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong customer service skills and ability to relate well to all customers. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral. This is a contract to hire position based out of Auburn, Washington. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $36.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
