This job is a member of the direct care healthcare team and is responsible for providing care to patients and families under the direction of the registered nurse. Essential responsibilities include: Performing general nursing care within the LPN scope of practice. Assisting with the preparation of equipment and assisting the clinical provider during treatment, examination, and testing of patients. Collecting assessment data, preparing patients for examination, and documenting clinical information on patient records. Ordering diagnostic tests as directed by the clinical provider and gathering diagnostic tests and/or examining results. Scheduling procedures and obtaining authorizations, as necessary, under the direction/oversight of the registered nurse. Assisting nursing and medical staff with basic medical tasks such as administering medications, blood and tissue collection, and preparing patients for testing. Other duties as assigned or requested. Qualifications: Required: High School/GED Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) CPR
