Project Administrator

We are seeking a Project Administrator in support of Terrestris Global Solutions ground operations in Los Alamitos, CA. This is a temporary 1099 role. The Project Administrator provides administrative and operational support, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, timelines, and documentation standards. This role acts as a key liaison between project management, contract officers, and internal departments to maintain efficient operations and communication. What does a typical day look like for the Project Administrator? You will: Assist in the coordination and administration of day-to-day project activities. Track project deliverables, milestones, and deadlines in accordance with contract terms. Maintain and organize project documentation, including reports, schedules, correspondence, and regulatory filings. Support the preparation of budgets, invoices, and financial tracking reports. Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes as needed. Ensure compliance with government regulations, company policies, and contract requirements. Interface with government representatives, subcontractors, and vendors as required. Monitor and report on project progress and potential issues to project managers. Assist with contract modifications, task orders, and closeout documentation. What qualifications do you look for? You might be the professional we're looking for if you have: Authorization to permanently work in the United States without sponsorship. Associate or bachelor's degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2+ years of administrative or project support experience, preferably on government contracts. Familiarity with FAR/DFARS (Federal Acquisition Regulations) is a plus. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. We are extra impressed by folks with: Prior military experience in Administration or similar occupational field.
