Senior Manager Of Experiential Marketing (Irl Experiences)

The Brand Experience and Partnerships team is charged with creating innovative, participatory experiences (IRL, virtual/digital, partnerships) that positively shift perception of the Walmart brand. As the Senior Manager of Experiential Marketing (IRL Experiences), you will lead experiential marketing strategy, planning and execution for strategic Walmart initiatives, with a focus on brand/culture and category-specific experiences. You will be responsible for driving multiple experiential programs soup to nuts leveraging top agencies to craft/execute experiential concepts and 360 campaigns in collaboration with stakeholders in Creative; Category Marketing/Merchant teams. The work you will do is highly-cross functional and collaboration is paramount to deliver holistic; scaled programs particularly with teams such as Media, Influencer, Creative, Site, Social, Paid Media, etc. The perfect candidate is both a creative and strategic thinker; a career experiential marketer who has a proven track record in building high quality, scaled consumer experiences; and has deep experience working within layered organizations to manage stakeholders; leaders, and sell programs in. In this role, you will report to the Group Director, Brand Experiences and Partnerships and support the Senior Manager, Experiential Lead. This is a fast-paced, high-visibility job within the Walmart Marketing organization. This candidate will oversee exciting experiences that drive meaningful brand/business impact; cultural cache. We can't wait to meet you! This is not a remote role. The hired associate is required to work from our Hoboken, NJ office 5 days a week. What You'll Do: Serve as the strategic, day to day lead on specific experiential programs; liaison with relevant teams Marketing; Merchant team Support the Experiential Lead who guides overall Walmart Experiential strategy; approach Provide thought leadership on Experiential programs, ensuring the work you lead is prioritized within Walmart's overall Experiential strategy and approach, delivering on our broader marketing goals Utilize data and insights to create meaningful strategies and impactful comprehensive marketing plans, collaborating across marketing channels and strategic business units Work hyper-cross functionally and cultivate relationships across the business, aligning key stakeholders to priorities and clearly communicating business objectives and performance Own program performance and optimize tactics to meet marketing and business goals Help manage and develop a team of marketers, leading a healthy and positive team culture of innovation and implementing plans to coach, motivate and develop individuals on the team Constantly innovate finding new ways to improve and accelerate Experiential white space growth; opportunities for Walmart What You'll Bring: You are entrepreneurial - ambiguity excites you You have a track record of creating innovative and unique experiential activations that create value for customers You've executed comprehensive sponsorship and partnership deals and know the ins and outs of negotiation You are creative you tend to have big, never-been-done-before ideas You are highly collaborative and engaging others energizes you You know how to write a killer brief and strategy decks You never miss a detail Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications 8 years + experience in marketing + a minimum of 3 years experience in experiential marketing, specifically A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience or experience leading cross-functional projects Top notch communication; deck writing skills presenting/articulating complex or new ideas to executives is a piece of cake for you About Walmart Marketing: Named Ad Ages Marketer of the Year in 2022, you'll join an internationally recognized team of thinkers, creators, and problem solvers passionate about helping people save money and live better.
