The Department of Internal Medicine is a top-tier department with world-renowned faculty and staff. A full-time administrative staff position is available in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. The division is seeking a detail-oriented administrative employee who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment to support our provider team and division. This position will assist in the research, planning and coordination of specialized and complex administrative, operational or education activities to implement major changes. Essential Functions

Manage internal and external faculty travel through processing travel authorizations and scheduling lodging, conference registration, travel, etc. Complete key, badging and maintenance requests. Assist faculty with calendar management. Gather and analyze relevant data and run/coordinate the development of related reports. Evaluate, develop and implement specialized operating policies and procedures. Research and analyze methods, procedures; identifying problems of a specialized nature and implement changes. Coordinate and oversee the personnel operations of a major college or department. Prepare complex budgets, monitor expenditures and develop budget requests. Represent administrator at internal and external committee meetings on subjects of considerable complexity, with moderate authority to make commitments. Identify programmatic, operational and system problems and implement solutions. May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.). Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time. Required Education

Bachelor's Degree. Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement. Required Experience
