DC IT Technician

As a DC IT Technician, you will be supporting the daily IT operations within our distribution center. This role involves the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of IT hardware, software, and network systems critical to distribution center operations. Provide onsite IT support for desktop PCs, laptops, thin clients, mobile devices, printers, RF scanners, label printers, VoIP phones, and other distribution center technology. Support and troubleshoot warehouse systems such as WMS terminals, handheld devices, conveyor control systems, kiosks, and IP surveillance equipment. Maintain and repair network equipment including switches, access points, and cabling in accordance with network team guidelines. Monitor and respond to support tickets, incidents, and service requests with a focus on minimizing downtime. Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support application rollouts, equipment upgrades, and infrastructure changes. Manage hardware inventory, coordinate RMA processes, and assist with equipment lifecycle management. Ensure all equipment and systems meet operational and safety standards. Participate in technology implementations, relocations, and disaster recovery initiatives. Document support procedures, configuration details, and incident resolutions. Provide support during off-hours and weekends as needed for system emergencies or critical projects. Actively participate in learning initiatives offered such as training programs, workshops, and webinars. Leverage these opportunities to acquire new knowledge, refine existing skills, and stay current on the latest developments. Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external support to others, assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively. Supervisory Responsibilities None Essential Qualities for Success: At least 3-5 years of IT field support experience at least an associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent combination of experience and education. Experience with WMS systems such as HighJump/Krber, Manhattan, or Infios. Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira). CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications. Knowledge of ITIL processes and basic project coordination skills. Proficient with Windows OS, Office 365, Active Directory, and remote support tools. Experience supporting RF handhelds (e.g., Honeywell, Zebra), label printers (e.g., Zebra), and other warehouse technologies. Working knowledge of LAN/WAN environments, basic network troubleshooting, and cabling standards. Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and respond to changing priorities under pressure. Physical Requirements: Ability to maintain a seated or standing position for extended durations. Capability to lift 15 pounds periodically. Able to navigate and access all facilities. Skill to effectively communicate verbally with others, both in-person and via electronic devices. The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $17.00 per hour and is bonus eligible. Exact compensation is determined by factors such as relevant geographic location, education, certifications, experience, job level, shift, and organizational needs. Eligible associates may also receive overtime pay in compliance with applicable laws.
