Responsible for assisting all employees seeking FMLA with the process from beginning to end. Responsible for assisting with accurate and timely processing and completion of new employee files and maintaining personnel files of all employees. Performs and assists other staff members as assigned. They provide services to individuals impacted by a variety of behavioral health (addiction/substance abuse and mental health) issues, recognizing that the individuals we serve often times have experienced trauma that affects their development and adjustment. They demonstrate a warm and welcoming empathic, hopeful attitude, conveying a philosophy of dual recovery. They will be trained in trauma-informed care and will work to help provide services in an environment that is sensitive and responsive which will prevent victimization, abuse, or trauma as a result of the care received. Education: High school diploma or GED required. Qualifications: Ability to manage all hiring stages. Knowledge of resume databases and Applicant Tracking System. Excellent communication and relationship building skills. Solid organizational and time management skills. Preferred Qualifications: Workday experience Knowledge of recruitment, retention, and equal employment opportunity practices and theories. Customer service experience Knowledge of FMLA Knowledge of Benefits Enrollment Responsibilities: Maintains FMLA documentation, tracking, and audits and is employee's point of contact for FMLA/NQLOA requests. Stays up to date with FMLA law, current documentation and FMLA cases. Completes pre-employment background screening including the verification of Licensure and of past employment, as well as assists in the credentialing process. Contacting and documenting personal references of prospective employees. Sets up and processes new hire personnel in online system. Maintains documentation for all employee health/personnel files. Assists HR Team with reports as needed, as well as all other tasks assigned. Maintains Axiom software for door and badge systems. Benefits Coordinator Perform all other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements: TB test upon hire Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. Requires normal range of hearing and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, telephone, photocopier, and other office equipment as needed. Sufficient sensory-motor dexterity to complete motor skill tasks, including vision, hearing, and speech. Requires prolonged sitting, frequent standing, bending, and stooping. Ability to drive in adverse weather conditions.
