The Receiving/Shipping Clerk needs to be a dependable self-starter with a desire to grow and succeed. Ensures accuracy of documentation, verifies inbound loads, operates fork lifts to put-away, stack and retrieve supplies and materials. Responsibilities also include documenting and maintaining inventory, Return Material Authorization administration and ensuring shipping and production area organization and cleanliness. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the logistics field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Schedule: Monday
Thursday 5 am
3:30 pm Overtime on Fridays as needed Hourly Rate: $26 / hour Essential Duties
Operate Fork-lift Load Trucks with Raw Materials or Finished Goods Transfer Material between Production and Shipping Department using Fork-Lift Interface with Truck Drivers regarding orders Interface with customer locations and carriers for Returns Schedules inbound loads of Raw Materials and Finished Goods Returns Pick and Prep Orders for Pick-Up Print and/or Prepare Bills of Lading Operate WMS System Work safely and wear the required PPE for each particular job. Follow all safety and housekeeping procedures as outlined in company policies. Promptly report all known safety issues once observed and take appropriate action if required. Responsible for accurate inventory counts as scheduled/requested. Unloading of raw materials and returns, and enters receipts in People Soft in a timely manner. Verifies all raw materials are in house or scheduled for delivery to ensure production schedule can be met. Communicates with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials. Complete the proper paperwork with accuracy before the end of each shift. Forklift inspections daily. Cover for shipping needs as requested. Promptly reporting of all known failures, malfunctions, or wear issues on equipment in assigned work area. Under This Roof, We Require
H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Equivalent Required Experience in Receiving Raw Materials Required Experience Shipping Finished Goods & Loading Trucks Required Forklift Certification Required Under This Roof, We Also Value
Communication skills - proficient in written, verbal, and listening skills Familiarity with Safety activities, safe behavior observations, and team activities Excellent problem solving process.
