Manufacturing Microwave & RF Test Technician

Analog Devices Inc., Chelmsford Massachusetts facility is looking for a Manufacturing Microwave & RF Test Technician to support our continued growth in the manufacture of high-performance microwave modules and sub-systems. Customers trust Analog Devices to deliver integrated electronics, and ADI is interested in energetic and organized team players that want to deliver quality products in a high-tech manufacturing environment. Microwave & RF Test Technician supports manufacturing in the testing and troubleshooting of medium to highly complex microwave modules. Requirements: US Citizenship and able/willing to obtain a government security clearance. Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions/documentation. 3-5 years minimum experience working in the microwave electronics industry, an associate degree, or a Military background with 3+ years' training and electronics experience. High school diploma/GED required. A diploma from a Vocational High School or Technical Diploma is a plus. Second and third shift positions available. 2nd: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM EST 3rd: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM EST Specific Responsibilities: Familiarity with using Network and Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, Oscilloscopes, RF Sources and other equipment used A strong ability to work with computer-controlled test systems as an individual contributor, as well as part of a team, to perform microwave electronics testing and troubleshoot complex microwave and millimeter-wave modules and subsystems. General knowledge of electronics construction A strong aptitude and interest in working with automated and manual test equipment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required to work with engineering, management and other technicians. Test station setup and calibration Maintenance of test data Assembly of breadboards, test fixtures and wiring harnesses. Simple hand soldering knowledge Working knowledge of Microsoft Office For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
