Position Overview
QinetiQ US is seeking an experienced Sr. Supply Chain Manager. The Sr. Supply Chain Manager has the responsibility for preparation and administration of subcontracts, task orders and subsequent amendments. Participates in teaming agreement and strategic marketing alliance negotiations between company and outside sources. Reviews client solicitations received by company and provides recommendations regarding outsourcing requirements to business management proposal team. Tasks include the negotiation of pricing, terms and conditions, analyses of price and creation of the subcontract document. Responsibilities
Responsible to work with subcontract partners to develop a Winning proposal (cost and technical solution) for assigned campaigns. Responsible for monitoring the subcontractor's performance, including the management of the deliverables and payment of invoices. Keeps fully informed on all subcontract standards, plans and policies. Prepares and supports subcontract negotiations. Ensures that the subcontract is in accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications and government relations. Monitors subcontract performance for conformance to requirements to protect the interest of the company. Maintains contact with Program Managers & Supply Chain managers regarding the performance of subcontract negotiation, preparation and monitoring. Prepares and disseminates information to appropriate employees regarding subcontract status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation and termination. Maintain FAR compliance of all purchases and subcontracts. Meet program KPI with respect to operational availability, inventory control, cost control as required for the program or Business unit. Required Qualifications
Requires bachelor's degree (in Business Administration or technical field) or equivalent, additional training in contract law, and fifteen to twenty years of related (government supply chain or subcontract administration) experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and procurement databases. Requires ability to obtain/maintain Secret Clearance Preferred Qualifications
