At Homestead Resort, we strive to provide exceptional guest experiences and are looking for a courteous and professional Bellman to join our team. As a Bellman at Homestead Resort, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a seamless and enjoyable stay. Your primary responsibility will be to assist guests with their luggage, provide information about the property and its amenities, and offer a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Key Responsibilities: Luggage Assistance: Greet guests upon arrival and departure, assist with luggage handling, and escort them to their rooms or vehicles. Guest Services: Provide exceptional customer service by answering guests' questions, offering information about the property, and assisting with their requests. Valet Services: Park and retrieve guests' vehicles efficiently, maintaining the highest standards of safety and courtesy. Porter Duties: Assist with the delivery of packages and other guest items to their rooms as needed. Safety and Security: Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and their belongings, reporting any suspicious activity or incidents to the appropriate authorities. Lobby Maintenance: Keep the lobby and entrance areas clean and organized, including arranging furniture and ensuring a presentable appearance at all times. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the front desk, concierge, and other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences and address any guest concerns promptly. Knowledge: Stay informed about local attractions, restaurants, and transportation options to assist guests with recommendations and reservations. Qualifications: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Customer-oriented with a friendly and welcoming demeanor. Attention to detail and a professional appearance. Knowledge of the local area and its attractions is a plus. Valid driver's license with acceptable Motor Vehicle Record. Must be at least 21 years old. The entire resort is undergoing a rebranding and renovation of all guest rooms, food outlets, golf course, landscape, pools, spa and much more, and the excitement is palpable.
