The EHS Coordinator is responsible for promoting and ensuring a safe working environment, supporting environmental compliance, and contributing to corporate sustainability goals. This individual will help develop and implement safety initiatives, monitor compliance, conduct inspections, and lead employee training in both safety and environmental practices. Key Responsibilities

Create and maintain safety programs that align with federal, state, and company requirements Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments Support the development and execution of emergency response plans Assist with environmental permit management and compliance tracking Contribute to ESG reporting and internal audits Lead employee safety training and promote best practices in health, safety, and environmental awareness Investigate workplace incidents and near-misses to determine causes and implement corrective actions Maintain detailed records of inspections, incidents, and compliance efforts Represent the company in communications with regulatory agencies when needed Encourage employee participation in safety committees and use of PPE Qualifications

25 years of EHS experience (preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting) Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures and regulatory requirements Exposure to or knowledge of environmental safety and compliance; willingness to grow in this area Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHS management software Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Additional Details
