Superintendent

to oversee day-to-day site operations on high-profile interior construction projects. Job Description

Supervise and coordinate all field activities and subcontractor work on site Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget Maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance with plans and specifications Act as the primary on-site point of contact for project managers, architects, engineers, and clients Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce site safety protocols Coordinate deliveries, inspections, and logistics in tight urban environments Maintain daily logs, update project schedules, and issue regular progress reports Troubleshoot field issues and proactively resolve conflicts Ensure minimal disruption in occupied buildings and liaise with property management Lead punch-list completion and project close-out processes MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. Minimum 7 years of superintendent experience with commercial interior construction Proven track record managing high-end corporate office or hospitality fit-outs OSHA 30 certification (required) NYC DOB Superintendent License (preferred) Strong understanding of building systems, MEP coordination, and finish sequencing Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and shop drawings Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Familiarity with Procore, PlanGrid, or similar project management software Knowledge of NYC building codes, permitting, and inspection processes What's on Offer
