Logistics Coordinator
Primarily responsible for scheduling and booking vessels, performing warehouse transactions, on time delivery, cost controls among other Logistics activities utilizing product knowledge, processes, systems, and team members. Roles and Responsibilities
Coordinate delivery of Sales Orders to customers Coordinate delivery of Purchase Orders from factories to warehouses. Process receiving, delivery and transfer transactions. Maintain weekly schedule and 12-month vessel consolidation plan Transfer inventory Track shipments Send RFQ's to Logistics providers for and book as approved Provide status updates to colleagues as requested Ensures on-time delivery and controls costs Review receiving documents to ensure file completeness and accuracy. Review Logistics invoices for accuracy. Interface and collaborate with Customer Service, Supply Chain and Engineering Perform problem solving for noncomplex issues with colleagues Be able to communicate with suppliers outside of typical business hours. Education and/or Experience: Requires a Bachelor's Degree or 3 years Logistics experience. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as purchase orders, quotations, RFQ's, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient Microsoft Word and Excel software. Individual should also have experience operating in an ERP System. Experience Level
Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $31.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
