Overview
Join a nationally recognized transportation insurance program as a strategic and operational leader. This high-visibility role is responsible for overseeing all facets of program administration and underwriting, with accountability for financial performance, service quality, and long-term growth initiatives. The Program Manager directs cross-functional teams and aligns departmental objectives to ensure operational efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
How you'll make an impact
Operational Oversight: Lead underwriting, financial, administrative, and data processing functions to meet established branch performance targets. Strategic Leadership: Establish and execute both short- and long-term business plans. Monitor performance against strategic goals and identify opportunities to enhance revenue and profitability. Financial Accountability: Maintain full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting across departments. Talent Management: Recruit, develop, and manage team members. Ensure efficient resource allocation and staff alignment with program goals. Project & Process Management: Ensure completion of operational initiatives and special projects. Coordinate with corporate teams to align efforts and maintain compliance. Sales & Marketing Support: Collaborate with sales leaders to develop marketing strategies. Provide guidance to ensure goals are met and aligned with branch priorities. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key corporate stakeholders. Manage contractual documentation and ensure business continuity.
About You
Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in transportation insurance program management In-depth knowledge of insurance principles and practices, with emphasis on transportation risk Strong financial acumen and operational expertise, with demonstrated success in P&L management Proficiency in network systems and business technologies to support strategic decision-making
