This position is within the American Airlines Credit Union. The role is responsible for managing and developing the Credit Union’s Fraud Risk Data Analysts, fraud risk data, and processes used to store and analyze member and operational transaction data related to loss mitigation. What you'll do
Lead Fraud Risk Data Analysts and the Loss Mitigation organization in gathering, validating, developing, and reporting fraud-related data. Create standards for data extracts, analysis, reports, and establish internal policies and procedures. Provide training to Loss Mitigation team members to maximize understanding and usage of fraud risk data. Collaborate with other business units to validate data integrated into fraud risk reports and systems. Prepare ad hoc reports to support projects, meetings, and procedural changes. Build management dashboards to present data analysis and trends. Review, validate, and troubleshoot dashboards and reports for trends, issues, and anomalies. Drive process improvements by streamlining workflows, reducing duplication, promoting automation, and identifying synergies. Participate in meetings and collaborate with management and business units to leverage data for decision-making. Serve as a key leader on Loss Mitigation projects in coordination with Business Technology, Data Analytics, and other teams. Perform other duties as assigned. Ensure the security and confidentiality of all account and related information, complying with applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act. All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in data analysis, working with multiple systems, and presenting insights. Preferred Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience Previous management or leadership experience. Education or experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and G/L reconciliations. Experience with accounting, bookkeeping, VISA DPS software, and report generation. Experience in SQL script development, preferably in MS SQL Server. Experience with Credit Union software such as Episys, Synapsys, Q2 process development and implementation. Skills, Licenses & Certifications Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint). Knowledge of Credit Union products, systems, and databases. Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills. Ability to build positive relationships and foster teamwork. Leadership in promoting change and process improvements. Reliable performance and attendance. Ability to pass pre-hire compliance checks for American Airlines and the Credit Union. What you'll get
