Project Manager - Aviation
for the Construction Manager team in Los Angeles, CA.

Essential Job Duties Supports the PM's execution of the following duties: Primary liaison and airport/owner representative responsible for directing and managing the project Responsible for scope development and scope management of the project to meet project goals and objectives Develops the RFP and oversees the procurement process for designers and contractors Provides direction and management for the assigned project, ensuring on-schedule completion within or below budget in accordance with contractual obligations Plans and defines program goals and devises methods to accomplish them, developing in-depth knowledge of owner objectives, contract terms, and airport policies Plans, directs, supervises, and controls all technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the project Works with team members and airport management to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for the project elements Oversees owner's staff managing full project delivery, including stakeholder interfaces Manages project scope to meet or exceed project goals and objectives Identifies and studies options for complex design, operational, or constructability issues Conducts field surveys and investigations to capture detailed and accurate field conditions for strategic design and construction decisions Maintains documentation on the approved scope of work, including all related agreements, reports, drawings, and specifications, with narratives and coordinated CAD representations Oversees the Design Manager managing the design process during design and construction, including resolution of technical design issues, issuing non-compliances, RFIs, coordinating reviews, testing, and approvals, managing punch lists, and supporting project goals Oversees the Design Review Team through all design phases, including significant changes during construction Monitors and leads efforts related to permitting processes Oversees construction to remove obstacles causing inefficiencies Familiarizes thoroughly with contractual and technical aspects of all facilities Ensures work is performed and inspected according to latest plans, specifications, and approved changes Professional Experience Level/Other Qualifications 10+ years of experience, preferably on airport projects Experience with projects over $50 million Experience with delivery methods including Design-Bid-Build, Design+CMAR, and Design/Build Proven management ability Excellent communication skills and industry knowledge Education/Training Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Aviation, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, or related field Master's degree preferred Optional certifications: AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, AICP, or relevant licenses Compensation Range:
$168,101.50 - $224,135.33 We encourage candidates who do not meet every requirement to apply, as we value diversity and inclusion.
