HiFyveis hiring a Maintenance Technician in the chemical manufacturing industry in Detroit, MI!
Pay:
$26$28/hour (05 hours of OT/week on average) Shift:
MondayFriday, 7:00 AM 3:00 PM to start; transitioning to a 12-hour rotating schedule within 612 months Benefits:

About the Role: Were looking for a Maintenance Technician to support daily operations by repairing and maintaining pumps, motors, valves, and facility systems. This is a hands-on role in a chemical manufacturing environment that requires flexibility as the shift will transition to a 12-hour rotation after the initial training period.
Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and systems Perform preventive maintenance and support equipment installations Assist with facility repairs (lighting, plumbing, general upkeep) Work safely around chemicals like chlorine and ferric chloride Support plant startups, shutdowns, and emergency maintenance
What Were Looking For: High school diploma or GED 05 years of maintenance or mechanical experience Valid drivers license Comfortable lifting 50 lbs and working at heights Positive attitude, willing to learn, and flexible availability PIT/manlift experience a plus
