First Call Direct Hire is hiring an

ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

for an Anderson Manufacturing client. 2nd Shift 2pm to 10pm Monday-Friday

Salary : $30.00-$32.00 Hourly The Electrical maintenance technician will be

responsible

for troubleshooting on all line machines as well as other electrical work handed down by management. Low voltage 24 VDC up to 480 VAC. Use of a multimeter and mega tester to troubleshoot problems. There will also be times when electrical panel building is necessary. Strong troubleshooting skills on electrical controls is required. When there is no electrical work available, mechanical work will be performed in accordance with line problems. The technician will also be required to perform weekly preventative maintenance in accordance with the preventative maintenance program. Duties/Responsibilities

of the Electrical Maintenance Technician: • Hydraulic experience • Pneumatic experience • Independent worker • Responsible for the calibration of feeders. • Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments to diagnose machine malfunctions. • Remove defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts. • Set up and operate machine tools to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures, or tools. • Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment. • Operate cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. • Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices. • Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges. • Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance. • Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt. #electrical
