CNC Lathe Machinist - Direct HireJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to set up and operate CNC Lathe and/or 3-Axis CNC Mill machines. The ideal candidate will have experience with Haas VMC and programming using Surfcam, and will be responsible for setting up fixtures, tooling, and making necessary adjustments.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC Lathe and/or 3-Axis CNC Mill machines.Perform setup and operation of Haas VMC and programming with Surfcam.Set up fixtures and tooling, making necessary adjustments as required.Provide own hand tools and measuring tools for the job.Inspect parts using calipers and micrometers to ensure quality.Perform tool changes and adjust speeds and feeds accordingly.Manage machining of low, medium, and high-volume parts, involving multiple setups per day.Essential SkillsMinimum of 4 years of experience in CNC Lathe and/or 3-Axis CNC Mill setup.Ability to set up fixtures and tooling and make necessary adjustments.Proficiency in inspecting parts with calipers and micrometers.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Haas VMC and programming with Surfcam.Capability to move into a lead role over time.Why Work Here?Join a growing shop that offers bonus opportunities and a small-business atmosphere focused on quality, teamwork, and customer service.Work EnvironmentWork in a clean, organized, and well-lit facility.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $70000.00/yr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
