Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop innovative packaging solutions aligned with product requirements and sustainability objectives.
  2. Optimize packaging designs to improve quality and reduce costs.
  3. Collaborate with suppliers to explore creative, cost-effective packaging alternatives.
  4. Establish quality standards for suppliers and assist with audits.
  5. Provide training on packaging processes to relevant personnel.
  6. Participate in commissioning new packaging equipment and improvements.
  7. Create documentation for packaging design, testing, and validation processes.
  8. Apply ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 methodologies in project execution.
  9. Manage project timelines and resources to meet growth objectives.
  10. Conduct packaging tests and validations according to industry standards.
  11. Support justifications for capital expenditures related to packaging enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least three years of relevant industry experience.
  • Familiarity with ISTA, ANSI, and ISO test methods highly desirable.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes in various sectors such as corrugate and injection molding preferred.
  • Proficient in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Strong capability with 3D modeling software.
  • Willingness to travel to Lincoln subsidiaries and suppliers.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools, experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Ability to engage in hands-on work within a manufacturing environment.
