Our client's team is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer (Level 2) to join a high-performing DevOps team focused on building and supporting Kubernetes environments to host services across multiple platforms. This role will support critical infrastructure sustainment and compliance efforts within a secure, mission-focused environment.
Required Skills:
- Experience with Linux CLI for system management and troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes infrastructure , including configuring network policies within a cluster
- Experience with system sustainment and compliance , including system patching and SSP management
- Familiarity with STE/STN security compliance policies and procedures
- Proficiency with the Atlassian tool suite (Confluence, Jira, etc.)
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools: Terraform, Salt, Ansible
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm for container orchestration and management
- Understanding of or experience with Elasticsearch and Kibana dashboards
- Experience with Grafana for monitoring and dashboards
- Security+ certification (CWIP) preferred
- Fourteen (14) years of experience as a Systems Engineer (SE) on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related field from an accredited institution
- An additional five (5) years of SE experience may be substituted for the degree requirements
- Work on innovative DevOps and cloud infrastructure projects supporting critical national security missions
