Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Work Type:
Hybrid (Mon & Fri WFH, Tue-Thu Onsite) Travel:
20% local + once a month to Denver or Seattle Industry:

RF Design, Network Deployment, Project Management, System Optimization Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced
RF (Radio Frequency) Engineer
to join our team on a
12-month contract . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in
Small Cell Deployment ,
RF Design ,
LTE/5G , and
Power Engineering . You will support the design, implementation, and optimization of DAS and small cell wireless networks across the Western region. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement RF solutions using Atoll, IBWave, MapInfo, and AutoCAD Conduct CW testing, RF propagation modeling, and performance analysis Evaluate node candidates, review A&E drawings, and verify closeout packages Design and modify AC/DC power layouts for nodes Support field testing and commissioning using spectrum analyzers, PIM gear, power meters Maintain internal databases and documentation (Crown Castle tools) Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customer engineering teams Ensure compliance with FCC, OSHA, and city regulations Support technology trials and optimize network performance Manage vendors and oversee RF project deliverables Required Skills & Technologies: Core Skills:
RF Design, Small Cell Deployment, Project Management, Power Engineering Wireless Technologies:
LTE, 5G, CBRS, UMTS, CDMA Tools:
Atoll, IBWave, MapInfo, AutoCAD, Power BI, MS Office Suite Hands-on with RF testing tools and RF emissions safety practices Familiarity with small cell architecture and DAS design Qualifications: Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science (MSEE preferred) 2-4 years of RF Engineering experience in wireless telecommunications Strong understanding of node/site construction and power concepts Excellent communication and documentation skills Comfortable with local and occasional regional travel (expenses covered)
