Provision and configure cloud security services such as Identity and Access Management (IAM), logging, configuration management, threat detection, and security monitoring for ongoing protection. Implement and enforce security controls to safeguard sensitive data and systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure integration of applications and services into cloud environments. Respond to security incidents, investigate root causes, and implement remediation measures to prevent future issues. Document and maintain comprehensive security policies, procedures, and configurations for cloud environments. Qualifications: Experience with onboarding and provisioning in cloud environments. Proven experience as a Cloud Security Engineer or similar role, focusing on secure cloud deployments across multiple platforms. Deep knowledge of cloud security services, tools, and best practices for AWS, Azure, and other major providers. Familiarity with security regulations and standards such as FedRAMP and NIST. Hands-on experience with cloud security services like IAM, CloudTrail, Config, GuardDuty, and Security Hub for threat detection and monitoring. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to proactively identify and mitigate security risks. Cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate) are highly preferred. Proficiency in scripting and automation tools such as Python and Terraform. Understanding onboarding and provisioning work on AWS and Azure. Strong communication and documentation skills for effective collaboration.
