Software Engineer

Huntsville, Alabama, US . Responsibilities
Analyze, design, develop, modify, write, edit, and implement software applications. Define software requirements, determine specifications, standards, and propose solutions. Estimate costs for new and modified systems, develop, test, and approve applications, including third-party software. Train users and prepare training materials. Manage user support and feedback. Specialize in areas such as network, operating systems, databases, or applications as needed. Work under supervision, handle basic issues, and escalate complex problems. Research, design, implement, test, and evaluate software and systems in coordination with hardware development. Deploy and configure operating systems and applications on training systems. Collaborate with hardware and systems engineers to deploy functional training systems. Create test procedures and conduct unit testing. Support testing activities for training system software. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and Design Patterns preferred. Strong analytical, debugging, and SW/HW integration skills desired. US Citizenship is required.
