Senior Technical Recruiter
to join our Talent Acquisition team! This individual will primarily support hiring within our
Technology & Experience Practice . The ideal candidate thrives in an innovative, fast-paced environment, is ready to roll up their sleeves, work hard, and have fun. They are comfortable with ambiguity and are driven to do what it takes to get the job done.
This role can be based in
Chicago, Minneapolis, or New York .
What You'll Do
Recruit for our growing technology practices, with areas of focus including Software, Platforms, Data, Cyber & Enterprise Tech, and Transaction Services. Partner closely with practice leaders and Partner-level P&L leads to grow the practice. Take accountability for enhancing the recruitment team's ability to rapidly target, identify, source, and hire top talent. Collaborate with internal clients to develop search strategies, create position profiles, and build target sourcing lists. Engage with passive candidates through name generation, networking, cold calling, complex internet searches, and research. Source active candidates from online databases, contact lists, internal databases, employee referrals, and sourcing tools. Partner with the sourcing team to demo new tools, source creatively, and engage with the market in innovative ways. Leverage our Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse) and other technology platforms to maintain and present reports, including talent insights for all sourcing and recruitment activity. Review and screen applicants, provide detailed recommendations to hiring managers, and coordinate follow-up interviews as necessary. Proactively develop, grow, and maintain a network of external prospects who may become, or lead to, potential candidates for future searches. Effectively manage the candidate process, including assessments, interview coordination, and offer negotiation. Build strong partnerships with hiring managers and act as a trusted advisor throughout the recruitment process. Lead or contribute to initiatives in areas such as Employer Branding, Candidate Experience, Diversity & Inclusion, Recruitment Technology Platforms, and Reporting & Talent Insights. Represent West Monroe in the local market to increase brand awareness in key talent pools.
Qualifications
4+ years of experience developing and executing candidate generation strategies to attract high-quality talent. Proven technical sourcing and recruiting experience. Proficiency in cold calling, networking, and internet research techniques. Strong knowledge of Boolean search logic, name generation, and applicant tracking systems. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Expertise in direct sourcing and effective interviewing techniques. Excellent communication, client service, and relationship-building skills. Ability to travel 10-15% as needed. Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Based on pay transparency guidelines, the salary range for this role can vary based on your proximity to one of our West Monroe offices (see table below). Information on our competitive total rewards package, including our bonus structure and benefits is here. Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, purchase shares from our employee stock ownership program and be eligible to receive annual bonuses. Employees will also receive unlimited flexible time off and ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Eligibility for ten weeks of paid parental leave will also be available upon hire date.
