Ensure completion of reference checks on all potential employees. Maintain statistics related to hiring, turnover, and other employment related issues. Review and submit invoices for recruiting related expenses. Manage LOA and FMLA processes in partnership with departments. Maintain accurate and up-to-date information for human resources files. Crosstrain with and serve as the backup for Human Resources Administrator and Director of Human Resources. Assist Human Resources team in the completion of personnel related responsibilities. Assist with workers’ compensation claims and follow up with insurance carrier. Recommend incentive programs to enhance employee morale, recognition, safety, health, etc. Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and agency personnel policies and procedures, and the Division of Developmental Disabilities regulations. Cooperate with inspections, investigations and inquiries conducted by The Arc of Monmouth, Inc. and/or by The New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities and The New Jersey Department of Human Services. Complete other duties as assigned. Qualifications BA degree in Human Resources, Business Management and/or equivalent work experience.SHRM-CP a plus. Three to five years of Human Resources experience with at least one year of nonprofit experience preferred. Team oriented and personable with excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.Attention to detail.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Paycom, or other HR databases.Proven ability to work independently. Valid New Jersey driver’s license with a driving record that is acceptable to The Arc of Monmouth, Inc., and its insurance carrier. Must have reliable transportation and be willing to use personal vehicle to accomplish job duties. Must present evidence of pre-employment physical examination, Mantoux test, criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry and drug testing.
