Responsibilities
Perform complex diagnostic CT procedures from start to finish under radiologist supervision, including routine CTs and CTAs, patient histories, and IV insertions for contrast administration. Maintain a positive environment, ensure patient safety and comfort, and act as a liaison to radiologists. Manage equipment, perform quality control, and adhere to safety standards including radiation safety. Document procedures, perform quality assurance, and maintain confidentiality. Administer contrast media under supervision, review procedures with patients, troubleshoot equipment issues, and keep up with continuing education.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program. ARRT Registered Technologist, RT(CT), and current IEMA license. BLS certification required. Minimum one year of CT experience preferred.
The pay range is $30.25-$45.35, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional incentives may apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr
