Overview This position provides critical insights to enhance the Information Technology (IT) department's operations, processes, and service capabilities. It involves analyzing technology and data to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement, supporting the development and management of technological assets, and serving as a resource on advanced analytics or technological matters by providing reports and recommendations to management. The role may also include assisting in configuration management, data collection, and development of improvements based on analysis results. Responsibilities Develop and implement ITOM functionalities within ServiceNow, such as Discovery, Event Management, Orchestration, and Service Mapping. Coordinate with various teams to identify requirements and ensure alignment with the company's IT strategy. Provide innovative technical solutions that meet user needs, focusing on functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability. Participate in system reviews and proactively identify and implement efficiency improvements. Integrate ServiceNow ITOM modules with enterprise monitoring and application management tools, automating alerts using out-of-the-box plugins and API methods. Design and modify ServiceNow forms, workflows, scripts, transform maps, service maps, web services, inbound email actions, SLAs, and other components. Manage MID Servers to ensure seamless integrations and operations. Employ expertise in implementing ServiceNow ITOM modules, including CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management solutions. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of experience in IT System Engineering OR High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of experience in IT System Engineering. License/Certification: ITIL Foundations Required. Preferred skills include the ability to analyze complex data sets using tools like Excel, Tableau, or Crystal Reports, familiarity with the ITIL Framework, industry KPIs and metrics, and strong documentation and organizational skills. The position's pay range is generally between $84,000 and $130,000, with actual starting pay based on skills, experience, location, and other factors.
