$125,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr Construction Litigation Associate Location:
Orange, CA Type:
Full-Time | Hybrid Flexibility (after initial onboarding) We are seeking a skilled Litigation Associate with at least 2+ years of litigation experience to join our established and growing team. The ideal candidate will have a background in insurance defense and/or construction law, and be ready to handle a dynamic caseload from inception through resolution, including trial work. What You'll Do: Manage complex litigation matters involving public and private construction projects. Represent a diverse client base including contractors, design professionals, owners, and sureties. Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions and discovery-related filings. Take and defend depositions of parties, experts, and witnesses. Attend mediations, arbitrations, court hearings, and settlement conferences. Summarize case documents, including medical records and third-party reports. Collaborate with trial teams and participate in trial prep and proceedings. Qualifications: JD from an ABA-accredited law school and active California Bar membership. 2+ years of litigation experience, preferably in construction law, insurance defense, or related civil litigation. Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills. Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Trial or arbitration experience is a plus.
