OUR OPENING
The Vice President of Human Resources will provide strategic HR leadership, aligning company priorities with the capabilities needed to achieve business goals. This role will be a key business partner and trusted advisor to leadership teams, overseeing talent management processes. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive HR expertise and lead the execution of people strategies, enhancing organizational effectiveness and driving change initiatives. Areas of responsibility include talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, HR operations, talent management, organizational training & development and design, and performance management.
WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS A VICE PRESIDENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES?
Strategic Leadership
Act as a thought leader and highly trusted strategic business advisor to the CLT and other senior leaders.
Serve as the primary strategic partner to executive leadership to develop comprehensive, scalable hiring plans across all functions within the organization to maximize revenue and growth.
Develop HR plans and strategies to support the overall operations of the business.
HR Delivery
Develop and implement HR infrastructure (people, processes, systems).
Lead performance management processes and leadership training to drive organizational performance through enhanced performance culture, talent retention, employee development, and management effectiveness.
Implement effective talent acquisition and employment branding strategies that reflect the organization's culture and attract and retain the best talent and leverage a continuous talent pipeline.
Talent Development
Oversee the development, design, and delivery of learning & development solutions to support organizational needs using a blend of methodologies including technology enabled service delivery (LMS), self-managed learning, remote delivery, classroom and on job learning as appropriate.
Accelerate the implementation of a talent management framework related to performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and alignment with learning and development offerings to enable outstanding organizational, team and employee/business performance.
Compensation & Benefits
Develop and maintain key compensation processes that drive performance and deliver the compensation philosophy and strategy of the organization.
EXPERINCE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED
10+ years progressive human resources leadership roles.
5 years of experience in a leadership role responsible focused on delivering all aspects of the HR function including but not limited to employee/labor relations, compensation & benefits, talent management & development.
Bachelor's degree required. Preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration, MBA.
Demonstrated success building a high performing HR function.
Proven results in developing and implementing HR programs and processes that enable businesses to deliver.
Experience serving as a well-rounded leader with excellent communication & interpersonal skills that engage all employees in the field, office and remote teams with a focus on strong employee engagement, performance and belonging by connecting to the organization mission and values.
Expertise in developing programs for the lifecycle of an employee including hiring plans, talent acquisition, onboarding, learning and development, engagement/retention, performance management, leadership training, and succession planning.
Demonstrated ability to effectively problem solving of complex issues, manage multiple projects/priorities at a fast pace.
Experience building and managing HR teams that deliver exceptional internal customer service and establish the HR department as a trusted organizational resource.
Illustrated success in the role of trusted advisor to the executive leadership and other business leaders on a variety of topics and issues related to human resources.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES NEEDED
Deep knowledge & experience in comprehension and deciphering of compliance with labor laws and regulations to enable action and adherence.
Strong knowledge in HR software and tools.
WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS
A majority of work takes place in an indoor office setting equipped with a computer, desk, phone, and other typical office equipment.
Must be able to inspect details at close range, interact, communicate, and exchange accurate information consistently.
Must be able to retain a stationary position for extended periods of time.
Travel and spend time in the field and other location to engage with employees across the organization; attend meetings, trainings etc.
