What to Expect
Tesla's Factory Software department is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to enhance our in-house manufacturing and supply chain computer vision platform, material tracking platform, or other applications addressing challenges in our Gigafactory network. The team manages cameras and backend systems across manufacturing, distribution, and warehousing sites in California, Nevada, Germany, Texas, and New York. Multiple teams, including Production Control, Inventory Control, and Supply Chain Automation, rely on these systems. As a backend software engineer, you will take technical ownership, collaborating with teams to improve vision systems across factories, enabling better reusability and quality of vehicle manufacturing. This role involves understanding business needs, designing and implementing solutions, and working with product managers and stakeholders to ensure success.
