Outlet Ambassador - Longboard Club (Part-Time)
The Outlet Ambassador is responsible for providing timely, courteous service to all Longboard Club guests, ensuring guest satisfaction as the primary goal. The Ambassador sets up their stations, including opening, running, and closing side work. They must have in-depth knowledge of the specialty wine and cheese program, assisting guests with the wine cruvinet system and servicing the PM cheese cart. Additionally, the Ambassador handles general maintenance and cleanliness, clears tables, and provides exceptional customer service. They may also support guests with folio inquiries as needed. Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness of all areas of Longboard Club, including furniture and service areas. Replenish towels and assist with Longboard Club Cabana reservations. Assist in opening and closing side work, completing checklists according to standards. Promote specials and upsell services. Process credit card charges and operate POS systems. Follow cash handling policies and prepare closing reports. Clear and clean tables, return glasses for washing. Ensure compliance with state liquor laws. Assist guests with service requests and ensure overall guest satisfaction. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be of legal age to serve alcohol according to local laws. Minimum 2 years of high-volume cocktail or restaurant service experience. Obtain Liquor Commission Card before training begins. Flexible with long hours sometimes required. Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally. Ability to stand throughout the shift. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented attitude. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming. Adhere to hotel standards and regulations for safety and efficiency. Effective problem-solving skills and initiative. Knowledge of cheese offerings and fromage. Attend all required meetings and trainings. Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
