Overview

The Outlet Ambassador is expected to provide timely, courteous service with guest satisfaction to all Longboard Club guests as the primary goal. The Ambassador is responsible for setting up stations, including opening, running, and closing side work. In-depth knowledge of the specialty wine and cheese program is required, including assisting guests with the wine cruvinet system and servicing the PM cheese cart. The Ambassador also maintains cleanliness, clears tables, and provides exceptional customer service. Additionally, they may assist with folio inquiries and support as needed. Responsibilities

Attend to guests, managers, and colleagues in a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner at all times. Maintain cleanliness of all Longboard Club areas, including furniture and service zones. Replenish towels and care for Longboard Club Cabana reservation guests. Assist with opening and closing side work and complete checklists accordingly. Promote specials and upsell services. Process credit card transactions and operate the POS system. Follow cash handling policies and prepare night audit reports. Clear and clean tables, wash glasses, and ensure overall guest satisfaction. Understand and adhere to state liquor laws. Assist guests with service requests and inquiries. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; hotel or related experience preferred. Legal age to serve alcohol according to local laws. Minimum of 2 years of high-volume cocktail or restaurant service experience. Must obtain a Liquor Commission Card before training begins. Flexible with long hours as needed. Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and 10 pounds frequently. Ability to stand throughout the shift. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming. Comply with hotel standards, regulations, and safety procedures. Show initiative, problem-solving skills, and confidentiality. Knowledge of fromage and current cheese offerings. Attend all required meetings and training sessions. Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
