The Opportunity
Allegro MicroSystems’ Finance team is seeking a
Director, FP&A Reporting
to lead all aspects of Financial Planning and Analysis for Allegro, with a focus on corporate reporting. This position is responsible for the Company's Annual Plan, quarterly forecast cycle, and analysis as it relates to our financial reporting and internal KPIs across our worldwide operations. This role will report to the VP of Finance and Business Intelligence who is looking for someone to challenge the current status quo, bring new ideas to the table and help us build a stronger team. This role will lead and train current and future analysts, contributing to our global finance organization.
What You Will Do
Lead a US FP&A team, including significant collaboration with and oversight of a matrixed team in the Philippines and other global finance functions. Provide guidance and consolidation for the corporate annual plan and quarterly forecast cycles, ensuring global alignment and accuracy. Preparation and Analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual statements, with a focus on global financial performance. Deep understanding of business decisions' impact on the P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow across various regions and business units. Prepares comparative and variance analytical schedules for global financial reporting. Reviews and reports results against key performance indicators monthly, providing insights into worldwide performance. Supports financial models and champions the development of long-term financial plans with a global perspective. Champions efficiency and continuous improvements of financial planning systems in a collaborative environment, driving best practices globally. Working directly with functional Business partners across the organization to ensure accuracy of Operating expenses and headcount plans. Administrator of our Budgeting, Forecasting and Reporting tool; Workday Adaptive Insights
What You Will Need
BS/BA in Finance/Economics/Accounting or related field, MBA/CPA ideal but not required. 10+ years of relevant experience, with a demonstrated track record in financial reporting and analysis within a global context. Experience in a large, complex, global manufacturing environment. Semiconductor or semiconductor equipment experience is ideal, or in an industry that has complex process manufacturing. Demonstrated history of increasing levels of responsibility, leading teams and initiatives. Prior use and in-depth knowledge of Workday Adaptive Insights Proven ability to manage complex global reporting cycles, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines. Highly motivated self-starter who proactively identifies and implements solutions for global challenges. Proficient and analytical mindset in dissecting global financial data, comfortable at both summary and detailed levels, and capable of translating insights into actionable strategies. Possesses a keen interest and ability to quickly grasp diverse business and market dynamics. Demonstrated ability to influence and drive efficiency, leading change and process improvements across various regions and functions. Capable of articulating and communicating complex financial information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences at all levels of the organization. Operates independently with a high degree of autonomy and accountability for global reporting and initiatives. Exceptional understanding of financial metrics and their practical application in a global business context. Challenges the status quo, continuously seeking enhancements in global financial processes. Strong background with financial and analytical tools (e.g., Oracle/SAP, Hyperion Smartview, Adaptive Insights, Tableau, Microsoft Tools). Possesses a comprehensive understanding of overall strategic initiatives and their global implications, coupled with a meticulous attention to detail.
