Senior Electrical Engineer / Group Leader

in our Miami, FL office (Hybrid Schedule). What You Will Achieve As a

Senior Electrical Engineer / Group Leader , you will design building infrastructure for various projects including Healthcare, Mission Critical Data Centers, Science & Technology, Academic, and Commercial buildings. Key Responsibilities include: Lead projects from conceptual design to construction, including office buildings, labs, data centers, academic, high-rise residential, hotels, museums, industrial, financial, and government projects. Coordinate design efforts with internal teams (mechanical, plumbing, sustainability) and external stakeholders (architects, contractors, consultants). Design power distribution, lighting, emergency, and standby power systems in compliance with NEC codes and standards; document calculations and design decisions. Develop specifications, site plans, lighting and power plans, one-line diagrams, riser diagrams, details, schedules, and perform load calculations. Contribute to engineering solutions for large-scale and complex building projects and support quality control reviews. Lead and mentor the electrical team, providing technical guidance and supervising junior engineers. Collaborate with project managers and the electrical team to plan work, manage budgets, and ensure timely delivery. Perform Construction Administration tasks, including site visits, RFIs, and review of shop drawings. Conduct studies related to conceptual designs, site surveys, and system sizing. Essential Skills & Requirements 15+ years of relevant experience Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent Revit knowledge is a plus Understanding of NEC, IBC, and IECC codes Experience with SKM, AGI 32, and AMPCALC 4 is desired PE license highly preferred Our Flexible & Hybrid Work Culture We support work/life balance with a hybrid work model (up to 2 days remote per week) and wellness programs prioritizing health and well-being.
