Stella Contracting, Inc As a Remote Deal Desk Manager, you will lead and manage the deal structuring and approval process for complex sales opportunities, ensuring alignment with internal policies, legal standards, and strategic business goals. You'll work closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product teams to craft competitive proposals while protecting margin and ensuring compliance.
This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, financial acumen, and strong communication skills. Your work will streamline the quote-to-close cycle and support scalable revenue operations in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for sales teams on deal structuring, pricing, and contract review
Evaluate and optimize deal profitability, commercial terms, and risk exposure
Partner with Legal and Finance to ensure compliance with pricing policies, discounting guidelines, and approval workflows
Develop scalable processes and playbooks to streamline the deal approval cycle
Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track deal desk metrics and pipeline health
Conduct post-mortem analysis of complex or non-standard deals to refine strategy
Support pricing strategy development and regional sales enablement efforts
Manage and mentor deal desk analysts or coordinators, where applicable
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, or related field; MBA or JD is a plus
2+ years of experience in deal desk, sales operations, finance, or contract management
Experience with SaaS or enterprise B2B pricing and recurring revenue models
Familiarity with CPQ systems (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, Conga, Apttus), CRM platforms, and approval workflows
Strong business judgment and ability to evaluate deal trade-offs in a structured manner
Excellent cross-functional communication skills and attention to detail Seniority level
