Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist with at least one year of hospital-based CT experience for an acute care assignment.
Responsibilities Acute care setting covering both CT and general radiology departmentsWork with Siemens 128-slice CT scanners, Carestream DR portables, and OEC c-armsPerform a variety of CT studies including strokes, traumagrams, heads, and chest/abdomen/pelvis exams, as well as X-ray chest, extremity, and c-arm casesDepartment has two CT scanners, five DR portables, and one DR radiology roomAverage volume of approximately 100 exams per day between CT and X-rayUses Cerner EMR and Merge PACS systemsSchedule is 10-hour night shifts, Sunday through Wednesday from 21:00 to 07:30Weekend work is requiredFloating between X-ray and CT is expectedResponsibilities include independently performing CT and general radiology imaging procedures3 days of department-specific orientation providedBlue scrubs provided for OR and turquoise required in the main departmentRadiology supervisor or lead tech support present during all shiftsRadiologist on site daily from 8am to 6pmCandidates must submit two professional references, including one supervisor reference from the last 12 monthsReturning employees must not have been directly employed by CommonSpirit, including CHI and Dignity Health, within the past year
