Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT (R)(CT), BLS, and at least 1 year of experience for a day shift assignment in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities Work in a hospital radiology department specializing in CT and diagnostic X-ray examsCare setting is acute with both CT and general radiology responsibilitiesUses Siemens Somatom Perspective 64-slice CT scannerPatient population includes adult and geriatric patientsCerner PowerChart EMR system is usedDay shifts are Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.One night of CT/X-ray call per week is required, with the possibility of two if coverage is neededOn-call shift generally starts at 11:00 p.m. and continues until 6:00 a.m.Position may include both CT and general radiology duties as part of daily responsibilitiesThe CT scanner features user-friendly operation with pre-built protocolsOn-call responsibilities require flexibility and the ability to respond to urgent imaging needs overnightProfessional working environment with regular day shift hours and structured callScrub attire required in accordance with department standardsHousing leads available for nearby coastal locations such as Coos Bay and North Bend
