Work Schedule:
Full Time, 36 hours/week Shift:
Nights; 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, with rotating weekends and holidays Location:
AdventHealth Bolingbrook Hospital, 500 REMINGTON BLVD, Bolingbrook, 60440 Your Responsibilities: As a Telemetry Monitor Technician, you will work under the supervision of a professional nurse to provide vigilant monitoring of EKG machines and communicate rhythm statuses effectively to nursing staff. You will adhere to all compliance regulations and participate actively in maintaining outstanding customer service. Key Contributions Include: Demonstrating AdventHealth’s Core Values of Quality, Community Well-Being, Ethical Standards, Stewardship, and Inclusiveness. Accurately documenting telemetry data as per departmental policies. Continuously monitoring EKG readings to recognize and report abnormalities promptly to nursing staff. Ensuring that monitor alarms are maintained correctly and troubleshooting any issues as necessary. Engaging in performance improvement activities and supporting quality standards set by the department. Following CDC isolation guidelines and safety protocols, ensuring the appropriate use of PPE. Exhibiting a strong desire to learn and enhance your skills, while also supporting departmental operations. Qualifications: High School Graduate or Equivalent Preferred: One year of experience as a monitor technician or completion of AdventHealth Monitor Technician training program or equivalent.
