This role will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, optimizing supplier performance, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the cost-effective and reliable acquisition of goods and services that support our clinical operations—including imaging equipment, maintenance, medical supplies, IT, and facility services and overall organizational supply needs.

This is a high-impact leadership position that requires strong analytical thinking, deep vendor and supply chain knowledge, and the ability to partner cross-functionally with clinical, finance, and operations leaders.

Essential Functions

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement enterprise-wide sourcing strategies aligned with company objectives across multiple categories, including imaging equipment, consumables, service contracts, and technology. Develop and own “spend-cube” of all goods and services (including Capex) we procure with the objective to reduce spend (while maintaining service levels). Establish and manage vendor relationships to drive performance, compliance, cost containment, and continuous improvement. Includes selection of suppliers and evaluation and management of supplier population. Lead supplier negotiations for high-value contracts and key vendor partnerships, ensuring favorable terms, risk mitigation, and service level accountability. Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to forecast needs and ensure the timely and efficient procurement of materials and services. Prioritize sourcing road map by value opportunity reducing cost Evaluate market trends, alternative suppliers, and innovations to improve cost efficiency and operational effectiveness. Establish contacts to category specialists and buying groups. Create standardized procurement processes, policies, and tools to support scalability and transparency across the organization. Set and assure compliance of the organization with sourcing guidelines. Manage supply chain-related KPIs and dashboards to track savings, supplier performance, inventory levels, and fulfillment timelines. Oversee supplier qualification, audits, and compliance with regulatory and internal standards. Build cost efficient team and lead team to achieve Sourcing objectives. Partner with finance and legal departments to support budgeting, contract execution,and audit readiness. Demonstrates competency in the performance of job-related skills appropriate to his/her customer populations and departmental services while providing excellent customer service. Adheres to policies, procedures, guidelines relative to departmental operations.

Education

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is required. Master’s degree (e.g., MBA or MS in Supply Chain) is strongly preferred for strategic or enterprise-level roles.

Experience

8–12 years of progressive experience in supply chain, sourcing, procurement, logistics, or materials management in a leading-edge sourcing environment. At least 3–5 years in a leadership or director-level role, with oversight of budgets, and strategic initiatives. Experience in healthcare, medical imaging, or clinical operations environments is highly valued, but not required. Demonstrated experience with: End-to-end supply chain management Strategic sourcing and vendor negotiations Inventory control and demand planning ERP and procurement systems Regulatory and compliance requirements

Skills And Competencies

Technical Skills:

Expertise in contract negotiation, vendor management, and purchasing strategies. Strong knowledge of ERP and procurement software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Workday). Understanding of healthcare regulatory compliance, including FDA, HIPAA, and accreditation requirements. Proficiency in data analysis, supply chain modeling, and KPI-driven decision-making.

Leadership & Communication

Ability to lead cross-functional teams across operations, finance, and clinical functions. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Proven capability to manage change and implement best practices across a distributed organization.

Certifications (Preferred But Not Required)

CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management – ISM) CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional – APICS) CPIM (Certified in Planning and Inventory Management – APICS) LEAN or Six Sigma Certification (especially for roles emphasizing process optimization)

Other Desired Attributes

Strong strategic thinking with the ability to balance cost control with service quality. Ability to manage supply chain risk and build resilience (e.g., in response to vendor disruption or demand spikes). Experience in multi-site operations or rapidly scaling healthcare businesses. Comfortable operating in private equity-backed or fast-growth environments.
