Base pay range

We are working with a growing company in the food manufacturing industry, that has been in business for over 100 years! Our client is opening a new office location the Raleigh area. The ideal candidate will contribute to the overall success of the organization by effectively managing all financial tasks. They will oversee the financial operations of the business and provide frequent financial reports. They will also assure strict adherence to financial regulations and compliance, while also communicating and working with the CFO on various projects. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of financial operations, including customer invoicing, accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, cost accounting, tax compliance, inventory accounting, and monthly balance sheet account reconciliations. Lead and optimize the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting. Ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies. Present and communicate timely and accurate updates regarding company's financial health and strategy. Support budget objectives by scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and working with the various departments to initiate corrective actions. Support financial planning & analysis to help drive business decisions throughout the organization Oversee monthly and annual inventory counts. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field 5+ years' of experience in finance or accounting Strong communication and analytical skills Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel CPA preferred, but not required Ability to travel to various plant locations Seniority level
