As the Public Safety Sales Expert, you will not only drive revenue growth, you will be the company's subject-matter expert on public safety telecommunications. By utilizing your technical and regulatory knowledge, you will provide public safety products for opportunities across the US. In this role your expert knowledge will be critical in not only building a sales pipeline but also spearheading the product launch strategy. Sales Leadership & Strategy: Build a sustainable pipeline by targeting commercial real estate, government facilities, hospitals, campuses, and all others requiring IFC/FCC-compliant systems. Develop and execute regional sales plans to meet/exceed quarterly revenue and pipeline targets for public safety DAS product lines. Negotiate contracts and oversee the full sales cycle, from training integrators, RFI/RFP responses, to post-installation technical support. Your Expertise: Deep knowledge of public safety regulations (e.g., Wireless Communications and Public Safety Act, NFPA 1221) and emerging trends like 5G integration. Ability to analyze competitors' offerings (e.g., hybrid DAS, public safety, repeaters) to refine value propositions in the public safety space. Knowledgeable on current legislation impacting in-building coverage mandates and acting advocate for solutions with fire marshals, AHJs, and telecom regulators. Experienced in education of stakeholders on DAS architecture, (UHF/VHF/700/800/900 MHz bands and FirstNet.) Train external partners, integrators, and customers on public safety products as well as market dynamics, including grant funding opportunities (e.g., SAFER Act). Partner with engineering teams to design custom ERRC systems that meet UL 2524 and local fire code requirements. Train internal teams on public safety products and market dynamics, including grant funding opportunities (e.g., SAFER Act). Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop case studies, white papers, and conference presentations highlighting product compliance expertise. Provide feedback to product teams on feature requests. Qualifications Required: 5+ years in public safety/emergency communications sales, with proven success selling DAS, BDA, or ERRC solutions. Expertise in RF technology, signal propagation, and FCC Part 90/96 compliance. Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) and sales forecasting. Bachelor's degree in engineering, Telecommunications, or related field. Added Value: NICET Level II/III, BICSI, or NABER certification. Existing relationships with fire marshals, telecom distributors, or federal agencies Seniority level
