Purchasing Contract Manager

to oversee procurement and contract compliance activities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across departments, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring that purchasing processes align with organizational standards and goals. Key Responsibilities Strategic Sourcing Develop and implement category management strategies to optimize spending. Lead competitive solicitations, vendor selection, and pricing negotiations. Build and maintain effective vendor relationships and determine appropriate procurement strategies. Utilize SAP to manage contracted pricing through Outline Agreements and Source Lists. Contract Compliance Review and manage contract terms to mitigate risk. Resolve disputes related to contractual obligations in collaboration with internal teams. Facilitate contract reviews with vendors, legal, risk management, and other stakeholders. Use company tools to monitor vendor compliance. Operational Support Collaborate with Buyers, Supply Chain Clerks, and Accounting to resolve purchase order and invoice discrepancies. Ensure alignment with contract terms regarding scope, pricing, and delivery. Maintain high professional standards and ensure compliance with audit and ethical guidelines. Participate in emergency response activities and other assigned responsibilities. Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in purchasing or contract administration, preferably in a utility or construction-related field. Understanding of purchasing, contract administration, insurance, project management, and procurement techniques. Familiarity with utility operations, maintenance, and construction is a plus. Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of relevant federal and state regulations, especially those related to safety and environmental compliance. Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records. Salary:
