Senior Manager - Automation (MN & MA Candidates Preferred)
Our client, a global organization, is seeking a strategic and innovative Senior Manager to lead automation initiatives across its medical division. This role will drive the development and deployment of advanced automation solutions-including RPA, AI, and AVI-to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in engineering and manufacturing processes. Candidates must be in Central or Eastern time zones.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a global automation strategy aligned with business goals.
Partner with R&D, QA, RA, and Manufacturing to implement scalable automation and process improvements.
Collaborate with product development and operations to optimize manufacturability.
Establish global engineering standards and drive continuous improvement.
Manage multiple automation projects and vendor partnerships.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Engineering (Master's preferred).
Minimum 10 years in a medical device organization in process improvement, value stream, or manufacturing role
Minimum of 4 years of people management
Experience implementing automation processes
Strong knowledge of process control and process capabilities
Willing to travel 10 - 25% depending on location
